Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Charging Block? I have always appreciated Harmon Kardon products for fidelity and quality. Disappointed when spending $200 on a Bluetooth speaker (which is above average as far as portable Bluetooth speakers are concerned) then opening box to find a USB charging cable only, but no charging block. Is the expectation by HK that I always charge using my computer's 2.5v USB output current? Charging would take an eternity. I then need to spend my time finding specs in documentation to identify 5v 1 amp max current for speaker, which matches only a few charging blocks, and now I need to go out and spend more money to get a charging block for the unit? The box doesn't even state what's inside. For this reason I am giving 3 stars, and will most likely return unit to store on principle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not happy first i had the esquire but after a about six months the cable to charch the esquire became a loos fit. so no contact and no charching. Went to store and after a few weeks i got the equire 2 because mine was beyond repare, the esquire 1 was sold out. now i got a newer model, and behold to my surprice there was no etui for the speaker nor there was a charcher, (cost more as nr 1 but you get less) now iam about six months furter on and the esquire has great difficulties to get charched. even playing the thing connected to a charcher it wil drain the battery and stops working, quite an expensive joke this thing is.

I was surprised (pleasantly) that the sound quality was crystal clear and the bass was deep even if it had no baffles. Cons: no carrying case No charger, only cable included. Excellent purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use this far device lots, every day. This is such a useful device. I brought primarily as a wireless speaker to stream music or radio from my phone or laptop when I am away - which it does effortless. I thought the conference call facility was a bit of a gimmick, but am though surprised how much I use the it not just with colleagues on a conference call but in my office as a speaker phone. Now 80% of my calls are taken through this device - far better volume and sound quality than my iphone and the mics pic up my voice from a good distance. For me its money well spent - don't get hung up by the absence of extras, appreciate how good the kit is HK do give you.

Wie kann ich bei meinem Esquire 2 (vom Speaker aus) alle gespeicherten bluetooth verbindungen löschen, bzw einen factory reset machen? Im Büro haben zu viele Kollegen meinen schönen Lautsprecher für Telefnkonferenzen ausgeliehen :)

Vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. Vorbereitung: Schließen Sie das Netzteil an das Stromnetz an und halten Sie das Ladekabel micro-USB-Stecker bereit, da Sie es in einer Minute verwenden müssen (schließen Sie das Ladekabel noch nicht an das Gerät an). Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Esquire ausgeschaltet ist. Wenn er ANGESCHALTET ist, halten Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste etwa zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt, um das Gerät in den AUS-Modus zu versetzen. Halten Sie die Taste "Volume +" länger als 5 Sekunden gedrückt. Sie werden keinen Hinweis darauf sehen, dass die 5 Sekunden verstrichen sind, also müssen Sie eine Uhr beobachten oder länger gedrückt halten, um sicher zu sein. Schließen Sie nun das USB-Ladekabel an das Gerät an -> die Lade-/Batterie-LED, die dem Ladestecker am nächsten liegt, blinkt dreimal rot, und dann zeigen die 5 Lade-/Batterie-LEDs wieder den Ladezustand an. Lassen Sie erst jetzt die Taste "Volume +" los. Halten Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste zwei Sekunden lang oder länger gedrückt, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Gerät startet im Kopplungsmodus. Can I pair 2 HK Esquires 2’s for stereo sound?

No, the HK Esquire 2 does not the capability to connect to another speaker. What it can do is connect up to 2 smartphones or tablets to the speaker and take turns playing music. Leider habe ich ein sehr starkes Rauschen im Hintergrund, wenn ich den Speaker über Bluetooth koppel. Kann man den Lautsprecher auch über ein USB Kabel anschließen so wie bei den Jabra Speaker anschließen?

ik krijg mijn Esquire 2 maar niet gekoppeld met men laptop HP Elitebook met WIndows 10. Iemand die mij kan helpen?

Hi Hiervoor zal je wellicht contact met de fabrikant van de laptop over moeten opnemen. Je hebt het stuurprogramma van de Bluetooth hardware nodig van de fabrikant, aangezien de generieke software van Windows/Microsoft vaak niet werkt voor audio. Zorg er in ieder geval voor dat de Bluetooth hardware de profielen A2DP en AVRCP ondersteunt.

Hej. Hvis du ser i din brugsanvisning under Connections, vil du se at computere kan tilsluttes med en analog ledning/kabel med 3.5 mm mini-jack i stereo i begge ender. De fleste computere har en audio udgang til dette stik, og Esquire har en indgang til dette.
