Tested relentlessly in the world’s most advanced sound research lab – our own – and pitted against competitors in real world comparative listening studies, the Studio 225C wins the crown for accuracy. Its dual 4” PolyPlas drivers accentuate the power of every word spoken. Its rear-firing Slipstream bass port deepens your senses with tight, accurate bass. And that’s just getting started. I don't see the crossover spec anywhere. What is the freq for crossover for the Studio 225C? I am looking for a center speaker to go with my pair of studio series S312BE (original owner). Would this be a reasonable choice (medium size room home use)?

Asked by: dross
The Crossover Frequency for a Studio 225C is 790Hz / 1.6kHz.

What are sonic similarities and differences b/w Studio 2 and Studio 3 (LSR) series?

Asked by: Azfar
These two speakers series or products cannot be compared easily at all. The JBL PRO Series 3 LSR speakers are designed as studio monitors, to be used in recording studios with a very flat/natural response, while the JBL Consumer STUDIO 2 speakers are designed for use in a home for stereo and/or surround sound listening. They will likely have a bit more punch to accommodate the demands of that environment.
