Rated 1 out of 5 by idahohouse from N60 NC Structural Fail, everything else is great $250, that is what I spent. What I got was structural design that is beneath what should be excellence from Germanic/Austrian engineering. Firstly everything is great about this headset, and I don't want to take away anything from the fine engineers that did the good stuff. However, it means nothing when there is a bad apple in the mix the renders the entire headset garbage. The problem: the only thing connecting the earpiece to the headband is a very weak piece of plastic. From what I can see, it is also not fixable. So, my perfectly working N60's, made garbage by a piece of plastic. Engineering fail with the cost put on the consumer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stuntman Mike from AKG brilliance Been looking at purchasing these for a while, didn't want the newer Wireless version as having owned the AKG Y-45BT I found the volume limiter on Apple devices didn't allow them the depth they provided via wired connection through a Fiio headphone Amp. I ordered these through the AKG outlet store as "factory refurbished" with quite a reduction on price. They came and were packaged as new.To say I'm delighted with them would be an understatement. The build quality, materials used and the finish alone make you want to use them, then you listen to them and they are brilliant. The noise cancelling feature is more than a gimmick and definitely does it's job very well. I am really pleased with these and and having owned 3 pairs of AKG's can say that this company know exactly how to keep their customers happy and do it with panache and quality in spades.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Damian from Great sound, poor build quality Great sound quality let down by a weak design and poor quality moulded plastic. My set have snapped twice. The first area you can see a blob on epoxy that did the trick, only for them to break a couple of months later at the small ninety degree pivot. When examining the first snap point I found an air bubble inclusion manufacture error which meant less plastic making it weaker. The second break can't be replaced or fixed with epoxy without restricting the movement of the ear piece. As a mechanical engineer, it's very easy to see that these crucial points have not bee designed to take the strain of normal use. Please make the joint stronger!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DaveJ from Makes the train ride bearable I got these for Christmas after dropping a strong hint. I've been a long time fan of AKG having used their studio headphones for over 20 years. I was not disappointed. Deep bass, wonderful noise cancelling, and compact size. I only wish they were Bluetooth capable. However I think I can fix that with a third party adapter. Get a pair, you wont be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Castrol from Fantastic sound, great feel. I bought these a few days ago after being disappointed with a pair of Bose QC35s. The shop I used (Superfi in Nottingham) suggested the AKGs and offered me a trial. Immediately they felt and sounded great. The headphones themselves feel so well engineered and the sound is fantastic, noise cancellation was really effective (used them for real on a train journey to London this week) and all capped off with a rechargeable battery. I was initially put off by the on ear format but have no concerns at all now with the performance they deliver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coyley from Perfect travel headphones I am a user of AKG noise cancelling headphones from the 490 through the original non Bluetooth N60NC and welcomed this wireless version as the next step. I have used AKG NG headphones in global travel on planes, trains and noisy environments. They sound perfect, have robust construction, a better pouch than N60NC and most importantly the Bluetooth works properly. The construction is a step up from the previous version as is the fit. All was good before but these are a delight. The controls are worth checking into as they are slightly different from earlier version but after a few minutes I was using them intuitively. I use these mostly in wired mode but when I do switch to Bluetooth all is great.
